PHOENIX (KPHO/KTVK) - A Phoenix man was arrested after police say he was found in bed naked with an 11-year-old girl early Monday morning.
According to court documents, Anthony Mitchell, 27, met the victim online and talked on a website. She reportedly told him that she was 26 years old.
The victim invited Mitchell to her apartment and police said they had sex.
Officers said the victim's father arrived home and found Mitchell naked in bed with his daughter. She was partially clothed. He restrained Mitchell until officers arrived.
Court documents said Mitchell told officers he thought the girl was 16 years old. Later, he allegedly said he knew the victim wasn't 26 years old but thought she was at least 18 years old.
Mitchell faces two counts of sexual conduct with a minor and one count of sexual abuse.
I am in no way saying that the perp was right, but the girl was 11!!!
And she felt it was okay to ask him to her house and to her bed!!!
What is wrong with our kids???
What a train wreck
Her mom could not control her so they stepped in.
What transpired from there could have provided content for a whole album of country music songs
Kind of funny looking back, at the time - not so much
*been mad...
Oh that...............
No one would have known
I'll drive him home, honey ... BRB
He restrained Mitchell until officers arrived? Now that’s self control!
“What is wrong with our kids???”
90% of the time it is bad parenting.
This is what kids are listening to this summer,

How does an 11 year old get sexualized that young?
There’s a problem in that family.
“We haven’t heard the rest of this story.”
Nope, and when and if we do, it is going to be ugly.
This goes much deeper than wholesome little girl, diligent daddy and a pervert.
There's the problem right there
That's the totally wrong question- What in the hell is wrong with the father?
Agreed. I don’t have daughters, but I know several father’s that do. He wouldn’t have survived with any of them. A couple of them, they’d probably never find a body.
MOHAMMED: Aisha set me up. She told me she was 10.
I agree 120% with you. But I’ve met the parents of some of my grandson’s classmates and they haven’t a clue or limited information on the environment in which their child is growing up. Strongly suspect that my grandson is among the few in his high school class whose parents have their computer and TV at home only in the living room. He is allowed to have a cell phone but only for talking and they check it regularly. He, unlike many kids, does not even seem to mind.
Not true, my wife had a friend whose daughter was taller than me and was more ‘devloped’ than my wife. The girl was almost 12 and could easily pass for 18. Puberty hit her early and hard.
But it sounds like they are making the right rules for their kid —the kid will be better for it.
Agreed..our Goddaughter is 11, almost 12 and it’s disturbing to hear the way they talk, act. The girls she hangs out with look like they could be in high school & they dress like it! Our Goddaughter is a good girl and her parents are very strict with her but its the other girls I’m worried about. One girl is fully developed, wears a lot of makeup and doesnt have the best homelife = recipe for disaster. But she’s the sweetest girl, just growing up way too fast.
Peer pressure..it was bad when I was growing up so I can only imagine now.
Grandson complains to me all the time about one thing or another. Tells me even I wasn’t as strict with his dad as his dad is with him. Of course his father grew up in the late ‘70’s and early ‘80’s. Did not have to deal with drugs, the internet, social media or cell phones. He did have a CB in his car, which my grandson thinks is absolutely hilarious.
Just a whole lot harder to raise kids now with so many outside influences.
