I'm watching the NBC Nightly News, and turned it on today wondering what would they say about Loretta Lynch announcing that the FBI would only release a partial transcript of Omar Mateen's remarks.
The government holding back this information, which the public has a right to know, is a very big story.
The media has also been making dire warnings about Trump "endangering the free press" because he simply kicked out the Democratically-biased Washington Post.
So how did NBC News cover this?
They opened with a report on the Orlando attack, and included some remarks Loretta Lynch made on TV today, but on Mateen's 911 call, they said only that the FBI would release a partial transcript tomorrow. That was it.
Then in their next story, they covered Donald Trump saying that profiling Muslims should be considered, although he hates the thought of doing it. The reporter then said that Hillary Clinton was off the campaign trail, but that she has criticized "Trump's inflammatory remarks towards Muslims."
One has to think that both Democrats and the media want to censor Mateen's comments and not even report on that censorship for political reasons.
Remember in the olden days when we had this thing called impeachment?
... because we can’t handle the truth?
zact same thing they did with the Zimmerman recording:
The dispatcher had to pretty much PRY the “black” angle out of George.
Presto, changeo, they made him into a quasi KKK guy.
I hope he got LOTS of money off of that.
I got rid of my cable 100% over 10 years ago.
The ONLY time I see cable news is when I don’t have a choice —in the gym when I’m running on a treadmill.
GET RID OF YOUR CABLE.
True. Except the government did in that case release the whole transcript.
It was the media that pick and chose to create the politically-motivated narrative they wanted.
In this case, it’s the government itself that’s censoring the information, and the media is going along with it.
Some responsible person in the Orlando P.D..will leak the entire transcript. The Walls Keep Tumbling down
I don’t have cable myself either.
This is the NBC Nightly News, the national network news.
>In this case, its the government itself thats censoring the information, and the media is going along with it.
The media is effectively the 4th branch of the government.
They will twist the story to be the opposite of what it is. They are somehow trying to blame right wing GOP and tea party for this. Amazing.
GET RID OF YOUR CABLE.
Amen. Otherwise, you are just paying for the rope they will hang you with.
Same judge who oversaw his (kangaroo court) criminal trial was in charge of his defamation case against NBC. Zimmerman got nothing, the case was summarily dismissed by the judge.
Mohammedans have to be immune from criticism and exempt from any form of personal responsibility. They are a protected group. It is part of the libard strategy and agenda.
Bkmrk.
....before it was Lynched?
“What we’re not going to do is further proclaim this man’s pledges of allegiance to terrorist groups, and further his propaganda,” Lynch said. “We are not going to hear him make his assertions of allegiance [to the Islamic State].”
Lynch went on to say, “This was a simple case of workplace violence directly caused by a youtube video, and the shooter was simply lying about his own motivations, thus it is necessary to censor certain parts of the shooter’s delusional 911 calls to spare the American people the difficulty in hearing false information that runs counter to our official narrative that there’s no such thing as so-called terrorism from certain lone-wolf individuals. In addition, Hillary Clinton’s campaign would be adversely affected if an audio tape of these lies should fall into the hands of her political opposition, who would no doubt use the shooter’s own misleading words to further his own lies.”
Lynch added, “We’re jut trying to protect the American people.”
“As soon as Winston had dealt with each of the messages, he clipped his speakwritten corrections to the appropriate copy of the Times and pushed them into the pneumatic tube. Then, with a movement which was as nearly as possible unconscious, he crumpled up the original message and any notes that he himself had made, and dropped them into the memory hole to be devoured by the flames.
What happened in the unseen labyrinth to which the pneumatic tubes led, he did not know in detail, but he did know in general terms. As soon as all the corrections which happened to be necessary in any particular number of the Times had been assembled and collated, that number would be reprinted, the original copy destroyed, and the corrected copy placed on the files in its stead. This process of continuous alteration was applied not only to newspapers, but to books, periodicals, pamphlets, posters, leaflets, films, sound-tracks, cartoons, photographs to every kind of literature or documentation which might conceivably hold any political or ideological significance. Day by day and almost minute by minute the past was brought up to date. In this way every prediction made by the Party could be shown by documentary evidence to have been correct, nor was any item of news, or any expression of opinion, which conflicted with the needs of the moment, ever allowed to remain on record.”
Nineteen Eight-four, Part I
“LYNCH: What we’re not going to do is further proclaim this man’s pledges of allegiance to terrorist groups, and further his propaganda.”
Because his pledge of allegiance to ISIS would hinder Obama’s propaganda.
