The archivist stumbled across the file in a stack of boxes on the second floor of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem. The yellowing letters inside dated back more than half a century, chronicling the dreams and struggles of a young man in Kenya.
He was ambitious and impetuous, a 22-year-old clerk who could type 75 words a minute and translate English into Swahili. But he had no money for college. So he pounded away on a typewriter in Nairobi, pleading for financial aid from universities and foundations across the Atlantic.
His letters would help change the course of American history.

Ping to shocker: NYT “discovers “ and informs low info lib readers “officially” in the liberal paper of record on Father’s Day in a front page story that Barry’s dad was a BIGAMIST! Key paragraph only a bit into to story.
“It was while pursuing his undergraduate degree at the University of Hawaii in 1960 that Barack Obama Sr. met Ann Dunham, a classmate. Although he already had a wife and two children in Kenya, he married her the following year, after she became pregnant. Their son was born on Aug. 4, 1961. But Barack Obama Sr. never mentioned his new wife and son, not even in his scholarship applications.”
Comments go wild with mad libs denouncing the NYT for distracting Barry from his presidential duties with this “new revelation” at this crucial time and say NYT should have waited until he left office!
NYT article still pretends that Barry and Stanley Ann lived together for two years in Hawaii before they split...

Click bait? NYT has to generate revenue to survive like all media these days. They have been losing money.
They also have to keep up their journalistic credibility eventually and coming clean now (better late than never) begins the process.
Maybe next week they will “discover” Barry was born in Kenya?

“Dreams from my father” is fiction, made up to give him a “life”.
The NYT readers are mostly in shock and are making so many excuses for Barry’s horrific dad. Lolo hasn’t been mentioned once in the nearly 300 comments I have read as NYT readers try to assess who had influence on Barry as a father.
I admire you for being able to wade through that bilge! Reading 300 comments by NYT readers strikes me as exquisite torture. I do enjoy your summaries, however—VERY interesting!
(Can you imagine mentioning Obama’s tranny nanny to them as an influence? They’d lose their minds.)

You put it very well. That is exactly the long and short of it.
Obama is America’s first undocumented president. Never in our nation’s history, has a president’s life story been such a closed book.
We will likely never know the true details of his past, but what we do know, is the truth of who he is, by everything he’s said and done while in office. That is something that he cannot hide, and which reveals all that he seeks to suppress about who he really is.
He screwed the 17 year old white girl within a few weeks of her starting college. They never married. He just knocked her up. He never cared about little Barack. They didn’t live together and Barry wasn’t an infant in Hawaii.
I always agree with your summaries. Baby Obama did not enter the world in HI, of that we can be sure.
