Asparagus winding down in upstate ny. Spinach bolting, watermelon, cukes and pumpkins coning up. Strawberries got a late start but are here.

Have you ever considered 'New Zealand spinach' ?
I understand it to be a vining spinach leaves, and continues to grow despite heat;
(disclaimer) I have never grown it myself, but several have done so on this board.

I can report that we had delicious garlic scapes from the garden....garlic itself is looking good...I'm still pinching off blossoms from my smallish tomato plants...I want the plants to be tall and healthy before they start putting out tomatoes...
potatoes look good...if my 40 gallon potato barrel does any good, there will be pictures....
we had 100 degree weather here about 10 days ago...and now, its in the low 40's during the night with days in the 60's and 70's...now that's my kind of weather..
