If it was in the Jungle Book exhibit, it was just probably trying to take his wallet. Disney doesn't want you to leave the park with any money, period.
Sounds like a non- disclosure clause in action.
I would guess the suit was successful. -Tom
Send for Amos Moses.
Most effective was this sign I saw on terrariums containing alligators inside a bar:
Alligators have survived since the age of dinosaurs by preying on the slow and the stupid. Do not put your hands in the tanks!
Disney needs to stop making ponds that children can wade into if they don’t want anyone to wade into them. You can’t tell me large rocks around their ponds or other natural barriers couldn’t be put in, thus making it much less inviting to little kids who can’t read warning signs.
My guess is that Disney would like to kill every alligator within 10 miles of their park.
They are probably prohibited by law from messing with the gators in any way.
I used to spend winters in North Miami and our development had multiple “gator warning” signs by every little pond
I thought it was stupid and wondered “why the hell would a gator waste its time in these little duckponds?”
Then while coming home at 3-4am one day, I saw an 8ft gator race out of a pond and take a fat goose. Then it ran down the street to a different pond. This was along a concrete path surrounded by homes and is normally full of kids and pets during the day
Still, for almost 50 years no person or pet has been attacked there. I guess humans don’t taste good to them
I was in Disney 2 weeks ago. Couple of incredible things to consider at Disney.
1.) At the resorts and in the parks, they have managed to almost remove bugs. At night, you don’t see swarms of bugs in the lights. Sure, now and then you will see bugs. But it’s the middle of Florida and Disney has removed the annoyance of insects. No mosquitoes? HOW?
2.) There are no bees visible in the Disney Parks, even there there are plants everywhere that must be pollinated. Where are the bees? I looked for bees for a week and did not see a single one in the park or at our resort.
3.) If Disney wanted to get rid of Alligators, they could and now probably will. Next year, I predict, there will be NO ALLIGATORS anywhere on Disney property.
My husband taught water skiing lessons at Disney World and and was never told about the alligators. That was many, many years ago.
Paging Amos Moses!
Reminds me of the guy in Orange, Texas. The sign said:
“No Swimming Alligators” with no comma. Apparently a guy thought it meant the alligators didn’t know how to swim so he jumped in. Immediately eaten by a gator.
I have long lost any desire to return to Disney. I see it as a money trap, and the crowds often make it very uncomfortable.
Walt Disney would be so unhappy with what has happened to his dream .... for quite a few reasons.
This tragedy is more than heartbreaking for all of us. Disney knows there are alligators and the public has trusted that they are protected from this and other dangers. 100% responsible.
Sanataria's parents apparently sued Disney.
Its nobodys fault, anything can happen at any time, he told CBS.
Yet he claims that it was "nobody's fault".
Growing up rattlers were all over the place..learned early on not to put my hand in holes and to always watch where I stepped
>>>> PUBLIC SERVIE ANNOUNCEMENT <<<<<
There are alligators in Florida (and all the other Gulf Coast states)
Consider yourselves warned.
Bring your kids.
