I haven't seen patrons of the club on the sidewalks and streets kneeling with hands behind their heads for police to make sure a second shooter wasn't among the crowd. Has anyone seen such pictures? At other incidents like this, that is what is seen always.
Busy manning their 2am Dwi task force.
Apparently it was 3 hours before the police entered. Had a few ccws been armed the first return fire would probably have occurred within 10 to 15 seconds. Some thought that the DJ was adding gunshot sounds to the music but it became clear that there was an active shooter after a few seconds.
The shooter was killed just before 6 am.
The police did a good job in a really uncertain situation. Thanks to them and God bless them.
It was a gun free zone. Instead of gun restriction laws we ought to have mor CCW laws (places that allow)
It was a suicide bomb free zone as well. We need to get rid of all people that will use these items.
I call for a muslim free zone across America. Shoot on sight.
Obama and the Left oppose Sharia-free courts.
When seconds matter, the police will be there in minutes...
You mean hours.
LOTS of minutes.
Works for me
Unless it was a Whitesnake type of thing, there’d pretty much have to be.
One person could not possibly control that many people once the gunfire starts and if there are places to run unless they are exceptionally compliant.
The witness in the link describes blocking the exit door shut when the shooting got ‘close’. There were about 20 in the area outside when he did that, while an undercover cop called it in.
“Where in the world did you get that idea? Actual police response did not enter the venue for three hours.”
I got that idea from all the reports on tv.
I believe I’m, correct.
Everyone inside reported one shooter.
“Sunday, 2:02 a.m. ET: Shooting erupts at Pulse, a gay nightclub in the heart of Orlando, as some 320 people enjoy the club’s “Latin flavor” event.
An officer working extra duty in full uniform at the club responds. He and two officers nearby open fire on the shooter, and a gun battle ensues.”

About the fifth version that I have seen.
The off duty cop was there as a bouncer
Shots were exchanged as shooter started out the door so he headed back in
I just want to know if the accomplice has been arrested
