That oath remains in effect for every one of us who swore it. At no point did anyone ever say, “Go in peace; your oath is fulfilled.”
We may be old and fat and tired, but we are still sworn. All we need is a commander we can believe it.

There are many ways to fight. Instead of waiting for the second revolution, how many are fighting now?
How many are writing, calling and emailing their congressmen and senators? How many are writing letters to the editor of their local papers?
How many are asking the people running for their county commissioners who they support for president?
How many Texans are raising hell with Ted Cruz? How many people in Utah are speaking out against Mitt Romney? How many in Wisconsin against Paul Ryan? Or in Ohio against John Kasich?
How many are using their Twitter account or their facebook page to protest what is happening?
How many are boycotting stores? Or news media?
How many have told their grocery store managers they will not buy anything made in China or Mexico?
None of that requires any more than a little time and effort.

I’d prefer a non-politician since I believe a career politician (anyone in office for more than two terms) is presumptively corrupt (in it for himself and his political future, not that of America or his constituency).
Here is something one could do. If you want to know just who the FBI, NSA, fill in the acronym undercover Feds are in your area just publicize a meeting for the formation of a local militia! Most, if not all the attendees will be undercover Feds. Bet on it!

I read of a book to be published soon, “Congressman X”. Apparently in it the “honorable” congressman confesses all. To a person, they are all power hungry, self serving, treasonous, corrupt, etc., etc.

To me, that oath I took is no different than when you are called back to the witness stand and the judge reminds you that you are “still under oath”. In or out of service, it means I am still sworn until the day I die. At 70 I can still shoot reasonably straight and when needs be, I damn sure will.
By the time most people take action, it will be too late. It probably already is.
