Very interesting chart. Thanks. MLB on the upper right. Phew. Great.

I'm not a big sports fan. If I'm out somewhere having a drink I can stand baseball. I like a couple of teams because of personal associations. But if I were pressed to 'root' for one team, it would be the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Why? My great grandfather played for them in the 1880s. I've seen baseball cards with his picture on them, that came in tobacco packages, back in those days.

The Pirates were the Pittsburgh Alleghenies from 1887 until 1891. They “stole” a player from the Phila. Athletics and were renamed the Pirates. Odd because the Steelers were originally called the Pirates but later changed their name. That old bb card would be worth serious money.
