Bristol Palin is married.
The daughter of Sarah Palin wed former fiance Dakota Meyer in a surprise ceremony she revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
'Life is full of ups and downs but in the end, you'll end up where you're supposed to be,' said the newlyweds.
'We are so happy to share with loved ones the wonderful news that we got married!'
They added: 'Hard work and God's grace are the foundation of our new life together, and with the love and support of our family we know we can get through anything.'
The couple had planned to wed last year over Memorial Day Weekend in Dakota's home state of Kentucky, but the wedding was called off at the last second.
Then, in December, Bristol, 25, gave birth to the couple's daughter Sailor Grace.

Hope this does not mean that Mommy is on the short list for VP. God we could do a heck of a lot worse.

Hey! Doesn’t everyone know? The first child can be born anytime. After you’re married they all take 9 months. At least, that’s what the old folks used to say.

Based on what I read in the news, I have to conclude that a great many people simply have no idea where babies come from.

Their lives give hope to parents of ADD kids everywhere! He never followed instructions as a kid--and finally that very same trait paid off and he saved lives! Regardless of what he does the rest of his life, he has made a difference. She became a poster child of everyone's fears for their own children...one night out where you don't know where they are--date rape, alcohol (and maybe a date rape drug), underage sex (loss of virginity), and nine months later, a grandchild with a dad who is nothing but trouble.
They haven't walked easy paths. Good for them for committing to each other!

Last summer, Trump said he would consider Sarah Palin for Energy Secretary.
She does have experience, having once headed Alaska’s Oil and Gas Commission, which is no small potatoes.

Congratulations to Bristol and her husband Dakota! May you be happy and enjoy your lives together and have many more healthy children.

Best wishes for a happy marriage and for their daughter to have both a momma and a poppa.
Evidently that clinker about him being married at the time of their first wedding announcement was worked out.

You called one of the subjects the “Republican Kardashian”. To you alone, no doubt that wild swing of a jab makes sense, is witty, incisive, or is somehow worthy of just another mindless Donglalinger post on FR.
Did you disbelieve post 8 on this thread? It applies to those proudly smug jerkwads such as you have revealed you are.
But don’t take this too personally, okay? Hypothetically posting, of course.

It’s surprising how many couples seem to have no idea what’s causing all those children. In fact, my own parents may have been clueless, producing a total of 10, 5 girls and 5 boys, of which I am eighth in line. It’s interesting though, that after number 4, all the rest came girl, boy, girl, boy, girl, boy.
