Yesterday was the 72nd anniversary of D-Day, but you wouldn’t know it from the official White House twitter feed. They posted or RT’d 7 different items about the Denver Broncos, who visited the White House Monday to celebrate their 2016 Super Bowl win, with 2 tweets on D-Day and the troops.

Obama's non-mention of D-Day. His one Facebook post 'honoring' a wounded veteran of Afghanistan has seven uses of the first person, singular in three short paragraphs.

D day usually gets empathized every 5 years. Its the same with Gettysburg and Pearl Harbor. The generation of today couldn’t care less of any of them, they aren’t part of the Greatest Generation” and in most cases have no connection with them any longer. Patriotism as it existed in the 40’s and 50’s no longer exists, except maybe in rural America, if there is anything left of it. Ask Obama about Hawaii on Dec 7th and he’ll tell you how the “Germans” attacked our ships, and say those nasty Germanese never gave us a warning.
