Of course driverless cars will be better!

Heck the average American can barely drive a cart around Walmart!

...

I know. At least where I am humans don’t set the bar very high.

I can understand why China would like driverless cars. It’s easier for the government to control the people. They can remotely program vehicles, track every vehicle’s location and turn them all off to prevent movement.

Having been to Beijing and crossing the street there, I would have to say that anything would be better than Chinese drivers.

No more getting in your car and going for a spin. You will have to state your destination every time you want it to move.

Thats the truth.
I’ve seen Oregon drivers purposely slow down so the car behind them gets stuck at the traffic light.
Its like a game to them...a game of social engineering.

All the better to CONTROL YOU WITH my dear.

I can see it now, "police" men sitting in their cars... "pull over 'citizen'", then he wirelessly takes control of your self driving "car", pulls it over to the curb, locks all of the doors so his "suspect" can not escape and there you helplessly sit until the special military-grade SWAT wagon shows up then you are removed the gun point and taken into custody. ...Isn't future technology wonderful? Not!

The biggest problem is that I like to drive. I have no intention whatsoever to abdicate.

The biggest problem is that I like to drive.....I’ll be an electric car or a driverless car when they make them go “VROOM, VROOM, Thump, Thump..” when you start them up.

It's "for the common good". Nobody needs to drive themselves so that will be taken away. Just ask Hillary

heh heh

A lot of cars now have fake engine noises, not just pointless tuning for audio impact.

Just to start, Ford, Porsche, BMW, Lexus, and the Prius use fake engine noise.

Self driving cars won’t cut me off in traffic, pass me on the right when there’s no room, weave into my lane, pull out right in front me and then stop suddenly, drive slow trying to figure out where to turn, or flip me off after it acts like an @$$hole and then blames me for its rude behavior. What’s not to like?

Bad driving and road-rage threads are my favorite because everyone has tons of stories to tell!
