Most Visually Pleasing Weapons Of All Time (vanity)

Posted on 06/03/2016 7:55:48 AM PDT by Don Hernando de Las Casas

Here’s a light-hearted question for a beautiful Friday morning. What are the most visually beautiful weapons ever created? I was gonna ask for your top 5 or top 10, but, really, why limit ourselves? ANY weapons count; notice I’ve counted warships on my list. I hope I haven’t listed all the best. Have at it, gang. Tiger tank 1911 .45 1921 Thompson BAR 1851 Colt Navy revolver M-60 and/or MG-42 Any ship of the line circa. 1770 – 1815, such as L’Orient.

Great tools, but butt-ugly.

Ugly guns need love, too.

Sig P210

ancient Greek xiphos

Scottish claymore

rolling block rifles

basic 1911A1, (without most of the modern sissy stuff additions)

Whatever I have on hand when the inevitable civil unrest comes

That'll do for now.

Hopefully a post recall model.
I liked mine so much, both of my brothers and one neighbor purchased them for plinking and pest control.
Beretta had mine for two weeks, came back better than new. On par with my Ruger MK1’s.

I’ll add-
Ruger MK I, II or III’s
Springfield 1903A3
Ruger Super Blackhawk

I got an extended threaded barrel from a company out west. Took me under 6 months to do the FBI crap, but took almost a year to get the barrel. They said they were backed up with mil contracts.

Kukri, Supermarine Spitfire, Des Moines Class Heavy Cruiser, Avro Vulcan, Clovis points, long bow, Viking long ship, small sword, Arkansas Toothpick, Pennsylvania Rifle, F-104.

I could go on for a while. Men love their weapons and can commit as much time to aesthetics as to function.
