That is funny, about the same length of time I gave it. I didn’t think it was possible for anyone to foul up that song, but they did.
Yep, the shallowness of most “Christian” rock music is so demeaning to true Christianity, it is almost it’s antithesis, ironically.
Nevermind
“I was born solely sexually attracted to men but I have two children with my wife”.
Why does he hate science?
Many “christian” artists just couldn’t hack it in the secular music world, so they become “Christian”.
“”I had the full intention of spending the rest of my life with her. “”
Past tense. A sacred oath is now an intention.
“”But if this honesty with myself about who I am, and who I was made by God to be””
I’m honest with myself that I have ADD. Doesn’t mean that God wants me to forget paying the bills. There are pedophiles, babies born addicted to crack, alcoholics, people with OCD, deadly diseases. I knew a man born with no arms or legs. He’s quite successful and independent. God didn’t want him to simply lie on the ground all day.
Thus PDs back in the day having ‘JPMs’ or Jesuses per minute as a criteria for what songs they put into heavy rotation. Heavy JPMs, the better chance a Christian looking for this music on the radio will stay despite it being utter drek. Say Jesus enough and a certain % will stick.
FReegards
I’ve seen this type before.
Some guys are active in their church so they can pretend to be in a band and show their musical talents. Their church is a way to GLORIFY THEMSELVES.
I’ve seen this more than a few times. It’s their best chance to get on stage.
That’s some serious gayness there. Very odd sideways glances between the two singers. I don’t even want to know what prompted this revelation by the lead singer.
I’m not into Christian music much, but I had to wash my eyes and ears out with some Dailey & Vincent:

Now that’s a oxymoron.
Autotune dreck.
By our fruits, right? Well his fruits are perversion. If he came out saying he struggles and asks God for forgiveness, I would be on his side, but he flaunting it like all perverts do.
Christian “rock” ISN’T and it DOESN’T.
“You’re not making Christianity better. You’re only making Rock and Roll WORSE!” Hank Hill
The gays can have him.
Truer words have never been said.
True in many cases.
I can't help but notice how often the quality (if you can decipher "quality" in rock music) of Christian rock music is often wanting, bolstering your argument. Very little originality or interest.
Katy Perry is the exception.
