How do we know Baylor didn’t push them to go to the cops? They obviously went to someone. I guess ESPN.

As for taking a scholarship away from a black kid because he was “accused”, you know what would happen. The press would have been all over that school for being racist and automatically assuming the “black kid” is guilty of raping a white girl. Because, you know us whites think of black men as “young bucks” who only want to breed. /s

They can and DO take scholarships away for many many reasons. Having information that an athlete is behaving in a way counter to the values of the university is a perfectly valid reason to dump him. And heck they don’t even have to say it was for accusations, they can just say he’s not performing up to expectation. And what will happen to them, what DOES happen to them, is NOTHING. Black kids get their scholarships yanked all the time. In the university/ athlete relationship the university has all the power, and they exercise it on a fairly regular basis.
