Abuse is always bad, but people need to realize there are people who really need these placards who might not look like it to the observer. Case in point my parents, when my dad was alive (he passed in March): they both had Alzheimer’s and they had one caregiver take them places. It was so hard for her to handle them both in parking lots. It was so much better to use the handicapped placard. But let’s say she had brought them into a doctor’s office or someplace and went out to the car alone, she looked perfectly able bodied. So remember caregivers also use it.

I admit to being a little judgey when I see a chihuahua labeled as a service dog (set me straight if that is for real), but I no longer pass judgment if a young able bodied person has a disabled placard - our caregiver was such an angel and it made her job so much easier with the parents.

I call the cops on them here in Ohio. They are all Blacks. There docs give those things out for no reason. It’s a $250 dollar fine. I’ve busted a bunch of them!
