Hollywood is in the grip a child sexual abuse scandal similar to that of Jimmy Savile in Britain, Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood has claimed.
The 35-year-old former child actor said paedophiles had been protected by powerful figures in the movie business and that abuse was probably still taking place.
In an interview with the Sunday Times, Wood said he had been protected from abuse as he was growing up, but that other child actors had been regularly preyed upon at parties by industry figures...
...Wood said the abuse was allowed to continue because victims cant speak as loudly as people in power.
Thats the tragedy of attempting to reveal what is happening to innocent people, he said.
They can be squashed but their lives have been irreparably damaged.
Allegations that senior Hollywood figures have been protecting child abusers have gathered pace in recent years.
Anne Henry, co-founder of Bizparents, a group set up to help child actors, said Hollywood is currently sheltering around 100 active abusers and said a tsunami of claims was beginning.

Yeah, most people have never been into the whole Hollywood scene, and I’ve only had a very passing brush with any of it, and I heard quite a bit from people in it. It’s very hard to get in it without encountering that kind of behavior, apparently, and the people who want to get into Hollywood without having to deal with it are really in trouble because 1) it’s everywhere and 2) if you say anything, you never work again outside of a site extra.
I have read that Shirley Temple’s mother would never leave her daughters side when Shirley was in Hollywood. Too many pervs.
Well, look at the case of the girl Polanski raped at 13, Samantha Gailey.
A pretty girl. She came forward, Polanski was prosecuted. And then she never had any Hollywood or modeling career. Ever.
She broke the sanctity of the casting couch. She broke omerta.
Disgusting that the sick homosexuals which comprise 2% of our population, have taken over news media, priesthood, entertainment, academia and government in just 30 years since their strategy meetings.
By the look of it, it seems they’ve won.
Conservatives warned that the gaystopo would continue to push boundaries that would normalize pedophilia, and poly-amorous relationships.
You hear the media and colleges speak favorably now of those very things.

But wait. We will find out that this is just a bunch of guys who want to have sex with young males so it’s OK since it’s only homosexuality. And homosexuality is awesome and should be celebrated.
When we lived near LA, a friend went for an interview as an office worker at a studio. I will never forget that she came to our home directly after, disheveled and shocked that she had been forcibly pressed for sex at the interview. She managed to free herself, but the advance had been severe enough to cause an abrasion of the mole she had on her neck. And this friend was not what would be considered extremely attractive. The mentality in Hollywood is that if you have the power, you get what you want.
Thanks! I’ll check it out.
My Dad watched McMillen & Wife while I was growing up. I’ve heard him call Rock Hudson a queer but I had no idea what he meant by that word at the time, I was so young. But I realized it when he died of AIDS.
John Wayne called him a queer in an interview way back. Everybody knew, but no one talked about it. That was a very different generation.
