If you don’t get out of that metropolis before it starts the collapse, you would have very bad odds of surviving the months of chaos, starvation, and disease.
The last was a couple of months ago in K-zoo. They tried to make something of it but the guy was clearly off his gourd.
Then they tried to make some thing of the fact he drove for Uber. Not enough back ground checks!
I and a few others pointed out there were taxi drivers who were serial killers and that meme died too.

And unless there is a break in the case, it looks like the perps are getting away with it. They knew how to cover their tracks, too, according to news accounts. It was rural, isolated and probably no cameras.
