The airplane had made previous stops in Tunisia and elsewhere. Lots of opportunities to place a bomb, IMO.

I know. It has always been so secure.

In 1988 right after Pan Am flight bombed I had to fly into Orly. They were blowing up suitcases frequently....usually associated with North African ( their euphemism) folks

So airport security in France is a problem.

This morning on NBC news one of their air travel commentators stated that this was the last leg of four or five (I forget which) it does a day. If it is terrorism, they'll have to figure just what the weak link is.

Scary thought. A maniac could leave a timed device on the plane and get off at the next stop, before it explodes.
