It was already doomed.
So tired of pointless, soulless remakes of good movies.
The trailer for the new version is the most unliked movie trailer ever on YouTube. Its already dead.
Well this movie isn't gonna settle well in the Mid-east and parts of Michigan I tell ya!
But I mean wow! WTF!? While were at it, make them all Mexicans. I mean ghostbusting must be a job no one else wants to do right?
You're welcome
Sometimes it seems like Hollywood execs deliberately sabotage their movies and TV shows. Why go out of your way to piss off half or more of your potential audience before the movie opens? I just continue to not get it.
The cast of the new Ghostbusters reminds me of the cast from The View. Not a good thing.
it was doomed before it started.
PC feminist green lighted this fiasco.
The movie industry will have to come up with a new term for “drastic, utter failure” to describe the new Ghostbusters. “Bomb” won’t cut it anymore. “Ultra-mega-hyper-nuclear bomb” might get close ...
Change the title to muffbusters and carry on. It will be a hit with the gender identity population.
Was Ellen going the “make it” with Sigourney Weaver in the re-make. I believe I would choose to skip that. . . .
American Standard© commodes can handle it.
I watched the preview for this new Ghostbusters, which is horrible. When you consider how today’s previews pack all the comic and highlight moments into a “spoiler” kind of presentation, this movie is surely awful.
I wouldn’t dream of going to see it now, although I had been potentially curious......
Read here how some shows are used by HRC. From her emails obtained by Judicial Watch. The article is good itself, but if you go a bit deeper and open the link in the article, and search the emails for the word “Oprah” you will find the memo to State Dept where they talk about how these shows aimed at women will let them on and guarantee all questions prescreened, some topics off limits, etc. Eye opening.
Meh, by the time they signed up Melissa McCarthy, it was definitely doomed. She is the anti-funny.
I have seen “Ghostbusters”, and this movie is not “Ghostbusters”.
Well said.
Ghostbusters is, in my opinion and on the basis of percentage of total script word count used, the most quotable movie of all time. Half the lines are immortal.
Hollywood, circa 2016 [The Age of Obama]:
Comrades, let’s not try to come up with any new and creative ideas; that’s difficult and dangerous. Instead, let’s recycle something classic and inimitable but with a(n) (anti-)social (in-)justice angle, thereby justifiably tarnishing the memory of the artistically superior but politically inferior original.
If this is true, I wouldn’t watch it if it came out on Netflix (for which I already have a subscription).
