It’s funny I have neighbors who moved to Indiana from New England. I grew up in the Midwest and I have been telling them for years that it can snow as late as May because May is still Spring. They didn’t believe me. Today when it reached 40 degrees in my backyard in Indianapolis, they came up to me and said we believe you now. I have also seen it snow in San Diego (on Coronado Island) on Christmas Day in 1987 while stationed on the Connie.

Had several squalls in Northeastern Ohio this afternoon.
It’s snowed on Mother’s Day before, which would have been this weekend if the 1st were not a Sunday.

In 1977 there was a May snow/sleet storm in the northeast,including New York.
We lost a tree (MA) because the leaves couldn’t carry the weight of the ice-—lot of people did.

It snowed on me in Northeast VT on May 22nd once. I really did not like winters there.
Why its man caused climate change. The global warming is heating up the south pole and pushing all the cold air up here... yeah that’s the ticket and you know my wife Morgan Fairchild etc.
How could you tell which was last, or first...they were sequential months. Ha ha.

I was once stationed in Plattsburg, NY. Summer occurs on July 4th. On July 5th, Winter begins. So, I’m not surprised if it’s snowing in upstate NY.

It’s been snowing off & on today here in central PA - snow squalls, wind gusts to 36 at my place. Snow laid briefly a couple of times.
Weatherbell meteorologist Joe Bastardi (@BigJoeBastardi) posted a video of snow squalls at his place. I didn’t watch (because I’ve used up much of my satellite internet for the month, grrr) but it should be similar to what I’ve seen.

Very light snow fell in Tompkins County, NY near Ithaca. No accumulation as it was 46 degrees. It was white, then melted on my windshield. It happened twice today.
