I've recently started watching Asian shows/dramas. That, and some of the European shows on Mhz.

At least the quirks are different from the cookie-cutter US shows. Then again, lots of those shows are up to 30 years old, too.

If you haven’t seen them yet, there are two KDrama’s I highly recommend, “My Love From the Star” and “Descendants of the Sun”.

I like some of the Brit, Aussie, NZ and Canadian movies/TV shows that don’t make it on American TV. PBS does show quite a few, however.

Right now, I am watching the long-running Canadian show, The Republic of Doyle. It reminds me of the old Rockford Files with James Garner. Just enough humor to make it light, but enough drama to make it interesting. I am into Season 2 via Netflix.
