I always thought that Obama would wait until the proper moment to indict Hitlery. By having her indicted, but not tried, she is not eligible for presidential pardon.
I can’t imagine why Obama would want hillary to be President. That would mean the Clintons are both Democratic bookends to the Obama terms in office. The Clintons would get to define the Obama presidency, to blame everything on Obama.
That's what I thought, as well. Then Comey, the head of the FBI, makes an announcement yesterday that he is not bound by any schedule. Also, he is not an Obama appointee.
I had always assumed that Comey would be pressured to wait for the opportune time to spring Biden; e.g., just prior to the convention when Bernie was decimated, but still in time to have a convention acclaiming Biden.
Perhaps the Comey presser yesterday was a shot across Obama's bow that he was not going to play ball. I think that Comey may be dragging his feet so that he can come out with a referral AFTER the convention. This would make it much harder to pull things together for the Dems.
