Believe me, Biden is in the on deck circle with Warren - Hillary will never make it.

And the Dems are in a real panic while they claim the Hillary train to nowhere has it all together and that it’s the Republicans that are in total disarray...I bet lots of them are going to boost Tums stock.....

I doubt that Hillary is too worried about it because: 1) she feels it is her right to be President (otherwise she'd have dump Bill years ago), and 2) Joe was born with a silver foot in his mouth. Hillary's too much of a bitch to let this happen. What I don't understand is how strong, independent women can even think about supporting her.

but but but... what about Bernie... See, Hillary was only in the election to make sure Bernie does not get the necessary delegates to win the nomination :)

This is probably closer to reality than many think. All it would take is neither to hit a majority of delegates without the super delegates. They would be instructed to split their votes so nobody gets a majority and it goes to a second ballot. Cue Biden/Warren.

Biden has no great following and has a Dan Quayle persona. He never made the cut before and will be a horrible standard bearer this time.

I have long thought Biden would drop or be dropped into the race just as soon a Hillary became untenable. Especially after the convention. However she is rapidly falling apart and they may not make it until then. My guess is she will droop (typo that seems to fit better than “drop”, so I kept it) out over “health”issues. Isn’t that the usual thing?
Then Lord Biden will swoop in to save the nation. Or something.

It’s their backup plan. Anytime before November we could see it.

Obama has a visible dislike for both Clintons, though he is not above using them. This would allow him to slip in the knife one more time.

Come on in Hillery, I have an offer you cannot refuse. My offer, resign the nomination for health reasons and I will call off the dogs at the FBI. Simple but effective. Probably the route to be taken here soon.

Clintoon will be the candidate for about thirty minutes at which time she collapses on the stage on cue and before she names a running mate. Bosses scatter and from behind the curtain comes Biden complete with prewritten acceptance speech.

Bernie’s fans go wild and are escorted out by fauxcahontas’ war party.

Iwant The Beast to stay in the race. She’s a horrible candidate and Trump will mop the floor with her.

I always thought that Obama would wait until the proper moment to indict Hitlery. By having her indicted, but not tried, she is not eligible for presidential pardon.

Question for Dem Nomination Process Experts Only. (Or anyone else, actually.)

Is this scenario possible:

1. Hillary gets enough votes to win the nomination but needs the Super Delegates to do so.

2. The Super Delegates vote for Biden and Hillary cannot get a first ballot victory. Nor can Bernie.

3. On the second or third or whatever ballot Biden gets the nomination.

All this brought to you by the Obama Cartel.

Could it happen?

I have thought, for many months, that Biden would end up as the candidate. How do you see this playing out? Stick old Joe in right at the convention? Or before?

I’m sure this idea is well beyond the “floating” stage. In fact I’ll bet whether or not Hillary gets indicted is more a political than criminal decision. All Obama has to do is unleash the FBI hounds to take her out, and put Crazy Uncle Joe and Princess Ho-Chunk up in her place.

I think this was the plan all along.

Though Hillary was never aware of it.

Hillary takes all the mud of the primary.

Democrats become the underdog

Here comes squeaky clean Joe to save the day.

Warren attracts the Sanders vote.

IF Hillary goes under the bus, she will then be fair game for prosecution once they drag her back out from under it.

But I cannot see it happening. She has TONS of goods on Obullcrap, too; and she knows where all the bodies are buried. She WILL NOT allow herself to be a scapegoat. And Obackstabber knows it. She could put a serious hurtin’ on him. So I think Hillary is the nominee, come rain or come shine.

Anybody that thinks Hillary is just going to walk away, even if indicted on multiple felonies, doesn’t know the Clinton’s. They will just claim the entire thing is a “right-wing conspiracy” “no big deal” and continue to campaign as usual.

Here is the latest delegate count:

Hillary Clinton: 2,240 (includes 524 superdelegates)

Bernie Sanders: 1,473 (includes 40 superdelegates)

Not yet allocated: 1,052

Needed to win nomination: 2,383

Consider what happens if the 524 Hillary Superdelegates vote for Biden or anyone but Bernie. That leaves Hillary with 1715 delegates. To win she needs another 667 delegates out of the "not yet allocated" 1052.

That's 63% of the remaining delegates that she would have to win from the following states: Kentucky, Oregon, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, California, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota and District of Columbia.

The 63% threshold seems tough to me. Others may differ. But if I'm right and Obama can command the delegates (potentially following some moves by the FBI and the Justice Department) then Biden could get the nomination and the Obama Legacy would be (LOL - "Secure").

Just thinking out loud.
