Trump is brilliant! He knows all about branding and he just branded Warren as goofy, Bernie as crazy and Hillary as crooked. Try as they might to ignore them, those labels will stick. This guy will be the next president.

Can you imagine the 1932 election with twitter?
It’s a whole new ball game with all these new media and their potential to say what people are really thinking, and also to allow them to respond to a large audience (anyone who wants to know, basically) right away.
We didn’t get the full value of this in 2008 or 2012 because the GOP nominated men of, erm, restraint for want of a more accurate term. I’m sure Obama could get in there and tweet his brains out too, but he was never really challenged. In fact, I have a theory that he never actually participated in either of his successful elections.
