I haven't found yet our usual FR Derby thread. I will start one,even though the race is a mere 5 hour away.
This will be Victor’s 1st time riding the horse.
Be careful getting here. Currently it’s mostly cloudy in Louisville. We’ve had low humidity, but high winds most of the afternoon. They are now saying 40 % chance of rain at post time for the Derby. And then we are supposed to get severe thunderstorms after 9 pm.
I’m only here for the mint juleps

I have been too distracted this last - well, semester - to really know what’s going on. I see Nyquist, Mohayman, Outwork, and Exaggerator as the big ones. 3 of them posted next to each other so it’s easy to keep track. I don’t want Mohay because he’s a sheikh horse.
I’m afraid mostly I’m just going to sit back and enjoy.
Any Arab/Muzzie-owned horses in this field? I like to know whom to root against.
Mohaymen. Owned by the damn sheikh from UAE always acting like friends. I always root against them. Unfortunately, Mo is one of the top horses.
Speaking of mint juleps, WTH did I just see on NBC? It look like a man in a white suit with a My Little Pony headdress making a mint julep. The rep from Woodford Reserve should be embarrassed to be on the same stage with him...

They parade him around for the last several years on my racing TC shows. He is such a perfect caricature of the stereotype. Yet apparently they love using the stereotpe when it is promulgated by libs. He is so blatant it is unbelievable, easy to laugh at.
Notice how the woman seems much more sane than the guy here. Guys who act like girls go far beyond what any girl does. It’s like “girl on steroids”. IOW, they are just plain insane.
