I don’t know maybe she did. I would guess that because the facts of the crash matched the evidence she didn’t feel it was necessary. And I assume she didn’t believe the family was lying to her.
She didn’t, according to MCPD UIPA responses. And looking at the medical history is standard practice for coroners, especially if the COD isn’t immediately clear. She also was supposed to record the autopsy and didn’t. Her work on this “autopsy” was sub-standard at best.
Unless she was analyzing a mannequin from an emergency drill.
Could explain why there were no communications requesting an autopsy in this “autopsy” performed as “outside assistance” for an investigation that nobody claims to have made...
