I am not aware there is any dispute about the birth and death of that baby. She was born at Wahiawa Hospital, had breathing difficulties, was transferred to Kapiolani, she died the following day, her name was entered as that of her father, her death notice in her father’s name appeared August 8, and the name on her death notice was amended to Virginia (so she could be buried under her own name, I believe) on August 29.
The number on her COLB corresponds with the date August 29 given the average number of births in Hawaii per month/annum at the time. The number is thus 400+ digits out of sequence with her birth.
So one assumes her birth wasn’t recorded until the same date as her Death Certificate was amended.
Amended. Not forged.
It was amended AND forged. It has a Territory of Hawaii (T.H.) file number on a State of Hawaii death certificate. The person who put that document together had to cut and paste the T.H. from somewhere else to get it onto that document as a glaring anomaly. It took deliberate action and shows that the document - straight from the HDOh and certified - has been tampered with.
