Isn’t the sperm cell and egg alive once they are formed? or am I wrong.

If the question is when are they human, I’ve yet to see one come out a pizza or a calzone.

They’re humans in the early stages. Just like men in their 30s :)

But they’re still human!!

A sperm cell and and egg cell are alive, but they are like skin or bone or brain cells: just a living "part."

Once fertilized, he fertilized egg (now called a zygote) is a human being.

Nothing ever authorized the legal separation of human beings into two classes: one with rights, and one without.

It's the premise of Nazism and slavery.

And you're right: chimpanzees and broccolis don't come from human mating. Every species produces offspring according to its species.
