Running at half watts, you’ll run a microwave. Not sure how you’ll keep a fridge etc going with that one. Are there any other solutions to this?

What do you mean? Here is a chart of different appliances and how many watts they need. To start a typical modern refrigerator would take about 1200 watts, and after that it runs on about 200 watts. To start a typical large Air Conditioner would take about 2000 or more watts, and after that it runs on about 1500 watts.

Therefore if you started both as the same time then you would need at least 3200 starting watts for those two items alone, and then you would need about 1700 running watts to keep it running. If you add a laptop, then you would need about 250 more running watts. Therefore I think that a generator with at least 4,000 starting watts and 2500 running watts would do the above at least. I guess.

None of these generators are going to work very long if you do not have fuel.

Gasoline now goes bad in storage, but propane does not.

Get a House sized tank for your supply.

(It’s hard for someone to steal that!)

You’ll need a sign for your yard:

Food and fuel gone!

PLS help!!!
