Sorry for the vanity, but this is getting tiresome to me. The same few posters find any drivel to support Lyin' Ted or any screed to jab Mr. Trump. We all know who they are. What if nobody responds to their attempts to incite? Maybe the threads die out sooner and some of the invectives against one another lessen.
I know that I have been purposely avoiding even reading articles posted by the select few. I have found my blood pressure to be much better once I started ignoring the falling trees.
I’ve tried doing that over the past few months, just avoid them... but there are times it just requires more self-discipline than I have.

I’m neverhillary, but Trump needs Cruz supporters in November, and if he’s serious about defeating hillary, he should keep this in mind and take the advice of the person who told him to start acting presidential.

Then tell Cruz to drop out. As long as he continues to lie, steal delegates and give aid Hillery with attacks on Trump he's objectively on her side. That needs to end.

I really despise the videos showing the daughters of Sen. Cruz shunning him from a hug. Anyone with kids that age know how they can be. It is videos like this that leave FR a place to desire a little less. I am surprised FR leaves them up.

If you want a playground, a safe space to worship the donald, well, you pretty much have that, now. Cruz supporters have been badgered, insulted, and zotted out of existence for the most part. Any discussion of the shortcomings of your candidate is forbidden, to the point of seeing articles about him carried elsewhere pulled here, while the tabloid sensation of cruz' alleged mistresses went for days here. (What happened to that nonstory after the polls closed, by the way?)
If you want a forum for the articulate discussion of Conservative ideals, well that has been effectively squelched through the operations of trolls and attacks on supporters of other candidates. Primary season has always been rough, but the limitless vitriol has set the bar at a new low. Interesting that posts here which were referenced on other sites as shining examples of that vitriol were removed, but not before they were linked elsewhere.
What has been seen cannot be unseen.
People who have been on this site since its inception are either no longer welcome or no longer feel welcome. Longstanding supporters have pulled their support.

Now, please use factual terms that can be verified from reliable sources to answer the following:
1) I see a conservative as someone who supports smaller government, greater personal freedom and responsibility, economic opportunity and growth, secure borders, and US sovereignty (among other things). In which of these areas is Trump not conservative, and in what way does he differ from the conservative position? Specifically, which of the policies that Trump has advocated during his campaign are not conservative?
2) Conversely, a liberal is someone who wants absolute power at the top, who has no belief in people’s ability to make their own decisions, who wants to use the force of government to micromanage every aspect of people’s lives, including the food they eat, how they educate their children, the cars they drive, and where they live. When and how has Trump advocated for this kind of totalitarian leftist government? Which specific policies on Trump’s platform further the leftist agenda as briefly described here?
3) Do you have any evidence that Trump was more than an acquaintance of Jeffrey Epstein, and, furthermore, that he aided and abetted Epstein’s crimes? For that matter, what evidence do you have that Trump was aware of Epstein’s crimes at the time they were committed? Furthermore, how does this tie into Trump’s conservative credentials or lack thereof?
I am going to waste a few keystrokes here, but here goes. The appellation "Lyin' Ted" came from a Trump tweet. Trump begins the tweet about anyone he is opposed to with a pejorative, be it that Dopey Al-Walid, or the Criminal Hillary, that is how he communicates. How Presidential.
In fact, that any self confident billionaire and captain of industry would feel the need to resort to such juvenile tactics belies a lack of confidence in his own ability to win in virtually any situation be it business or politics. If you want to buy in with that, you join in my opinion with him in his tactics and the amount of respect I feel they are due.
But then that's the problem around here. So many have gone there, so many have descended to that level of 'thoughtful conversation', that those of us who prefer thoughtful disagreement to grade school playground Alinsky tactics just aren't going to hang around.
Some are leaving, but others are realizing that Cruz is not everything that he made himself out to be.
Cruz’s drop in poll numbers and the primary results have nothing to do with FreeRepublic. They are the result of voters seeing who the man really is.

Joe- what you said! This thread shows what FR has devolved into-Trump Central. I was put in some sort of FR timeout for doing nothing but stating my personal opinion without name-calling or other leftist tactics used by Trump supporters. I am done with this joke of a website and will never return. I was a member since 2000 and I am a consistent Constitutional Conservative with a strong mind and not susceptible to joining a cult of personality. Enjoy your echo chamber. Enjoy watching Trump either get shut out at the convention, throwing another temper tantrum and melting down on twitter or losing to Hitlery.

The one with the daughter running and Cruz chasing her was posted yesterday on a thread, and one poster suggested that there was something going on that needs to be investigated. This is the type of comment that should not be tolerated by anyone here.
