The Rev. Daniel Berrigan, a Roman Catholic priest and peace activist who was imprisoned for burning draft files in a protest against the Vietnam War, died Saturday. He was 94.
Berrigan died at Murray-Weigel Hall, a Jesuit health care community in New York City after a "long illness," according to Michael Benigno, a spokesman for the Jesuits USA Northeast Province.
"He died peacefully," Benigno said.

Old Commies never die . . they just fade away
If there’s nothing good to say about someone then don’t say anything.
So here’s what i have to say about Berrigan:
There’s a special place in HELL for this stinking SOB!
Berrigan should get an interesting interview so to speak.
Ho Chi Minh said we will not win this war in the battlefields of Vietnam. We will win it in the streets of the America. He was right and the Berrigan brothers were 2 of his best street soldiers.
Since you said it, I don’t have to. It’s great he’s getting there just as summer sets in when it gets REALLY hot.
Re: Berrigan: Adios Commie scum!
The good die young.
Did they ever appear along side Jane Fonda? Or, John Kerry?
I don’t recall for sure, but “probably”.
He was the Devil's own, on earth, now he has joined his MASTER!
Many years ago I ran across a picture of him being arrested, I think, on Shelter Island. The caption was great. Which man is free, or something like that.
This may be the picture

How he ever remained a priest in good standing is beyond me. That he was never excommunicated or perp walked out of any church told me all I need to know about the false representatives of Christ.....of which there are a multitude.
The sixties were interesting times.
Too bad that deranged freedom killing scum lived so long. He helped destroy millions of innocent lives far superior to his own.
A true left wing devil.
That's a d@mn shame.
Flags at half mast by executive order?
