Huma Abedin, a longtime aide to Hillary Clinton, nearly began sobbing at the thought of Clinton carrying her own bags, according to a report published on Thursday.
"Abedin took her duties so seriously ... that when she learned that Clinton had once carried her own bag up a flight of stairs in her aide's absence, Abedin nearly burst into tears," an unnamed source said for the story in Newsweek.
Abedin began working for Clinton as a White House intern in 1996, the same year that former intern Monica Lewinsky began working for President Bill Clinton. However, her career took a different a trajectory, and Abedin has remained one of Clinton's most committed devotees. She served as Clinton's deputy chief of staff at the State Department, and is now a vice chair for Clinton's presidential campaign.

After seeing the intimate photo you posted, I certainly believe Hillary would be a wreck without Huma to fulfill her every need. Hate to use the term, but that’s a severe case of codependency.

As I understand it, there are several doctors at the VA that make much more than $400k. At the state level, the highest paid government employees are usually university presidents or union presidents.
That would make a great law - no one can make more than the president.

My best friend from my military career was an Air Force CMSgt who passed away last year. He was a man of tremendous character and integrity; never knew him to tell anything false in a friendship that lasted 30 years.
My friend did a tour at the White House Communications Agency (WHCA)as a young TSgt. Passing a “Yankee White” background check (required for staffers at WHCA)is the toughest screening process in the federal government.
He was part of the WHCA contingent at the White House when Bill and Hillary arrived (most of the organization is based at Bolling AFB, in the Anacostia section of D.C.). My friend was awaiting reassignment; incredibly he passed on the opportunity to stay at the agency for the rest of his career, as many NCOs do. He told his superiors he did not want to be part of a White Hosue led by a man with no morals or integrity.
On inauguration night in January 1993, my freind told me, Bill adjourned to one of the White House bedrooms to celebrate with his girlfriend, while Hillary did the same thing with another woman in a separate bedroom.
My friend would have never told that story if he did not know it to be true. He told me it came from a Secret Service agent on the presidential protection detail, someone who was in a position to know. Hillary’s preference for swinging from the other side of the plate began long before Huma. Consider Bill’s frequent comments to his mistresses about Hillary’s sexual preferences.
In a lot of states the highest paid employee is a football or basketball coach.
Watch out, the Hillary “truth patrol” will put you on a list! :-)
