The only seedlings that survived the below freezing night a few weeks ago are the hot lemon peppers and the ancho peppers. I put new seeds in the cups where the other seedlings died about a week ago. Nothing yet, so we may be buying plants this season. It’s not the end of the world.

Cold/ cool nights and warm days here in Western NY
34 degrees last night, and 11 degrees colder than normal so far this spring
The Lilacs are getting ready to bloom, and the cool nights will make the blooms last longer, and make plants hardier.
We have a delayed spring this year.
With 34 degrees , every night is a gamble with killing frost.

You might want to consider the "Paul Robeson" that Original Lurker posted in Post #12 for tomatoes.
It is a best tasting heirloom that comes from Russia, Siberia , and does well in colder climes.
The comments suggest that it grows well all the way from California to Indianna with many positive recommends for flavor and size.
