Middle freaking aged people driven to heroin this very reason. I never would have believed it if I had not seen it with my own eyes.

Wasn’t heroin invented specifically for pain relief, intended to have less side-effects than morphine? Don’t know if I am remembering correctly...

Exactly- this is what i meant- outlawing legal drugs practically, or making it near impossible to be on them, and greenlighting far more dangerous drugs like heroin- driving people who need prescription pain meds to street drugs- I just don’t understand the reasoning behind it all-
