The apportionment of delegates to the convention is based on US census, number of Congressional districts. There should, instead, be a weighting of each state according to its past performance in presidential elections. States like NY that never go GOP should not have undue influence.
The idea that there are equal delegates that come from minority majority districts that vote 99% Democrat is ridiculous.
it’s above the head of the low info voters though. Trump won NY, that’s the only dispositive fact.
I've been saying that for years, along with the GOP continuing to go along with letting dark blue states have the first shot at establishing the GOP front-runners. States that have the highest percentage vote GOP in the presidential race and that have the highest ratio of GOP to Dem representation in congress should go earliest in selecting delegates and shaping the race for the GOP nominee in the next election. There is no reason at all that the GOP has to follow along with the traditional order of primaries and caucuses.
