I think that’s exactly right.

It’s very clear that this crew wasn’t nearly as inspired to challenge Obama. Lucky for us, they’re inept and ineffective against Trump, too.

This reckoning was a long time coming. Self identified conservatives haven’t delivered on much. Increasingly important, voters are coming to the perfectly reasonable conclusion that Republicans are (another) major obstacle to advancing conservative goals. If we’re going to lose anyway, why keep enabling these asshats?

Well, yeah. And if being a “conservative” means that you don’t enforce the border, enter wars you have no intention of winning, allow our enemies to walk into our country without even naming them, then count me out.

Exactly. Retire these guys and look to building something better even if it takes 50 or 100 years.

Trump just recently reiterated that he is for raising taxes on the “rich” (a typical leftist Democrat mantra), including himself, natch (he was no doubt channeling Warren Buffet there...if Buffet was dead, that is).

Sooo...why has Donald Trump been under an ongoing IRS audit for around the past twelve years (by his own words and admission)? Isn’t anybody on that Trump Train even a little bit curious? (rhetorical question, of course)

Your insults do not amount to an argument. There is no reason to believe that one with Donald Trump's personality, would choose to define his life, at this late stage--for that is what he is doing now, defining his life--as a "fake, fraud, conman or loser."

Stop arguing by ex cathedra pronouncements and smell the coffee, as they say.

Trump: Metaphor For American Conservatism.

I admire your spirit, but we do not have 50 or 100 years to play with. We have to get something major done this year, or the international humanist theorists & Marxist Influenced Pseudo Intellectual Poseurs ("Mipips") will finish what remains of the American Heritage.

It is not that our foes have any real understanding of what they have wrought, or of what they seek. But like thoroughly conditioned robots, they proceed on a sense of mission. Trump absolutely nails it, when he comments on the "stupidity" of our policy makers & negotiators. Let's keep the momentum building; let us yet snatch victory from what has been planned for us by theorists who have all the reason of the academics Gulliver found on the island of Laputa.

Why is it that today after being here on FR for almost 18 years do I find myself debating such nonsense with people who pretend to call themselves conservatives in the first place?

I gave you my reasons. Maybe you should ask the approximately 70% of our fellow FReepers why they're on the same side as I am.

And your denials do not amount to any more than smoke. I have more reason to believe Trump will do something right than I do Cruz, who had years to do anything right, and voted for Corker, TPP, and made no alliances to shut down anything.

What you quoted is pretty good, I can’t wait to hear how discriminatory the lefties consider that wording to be. Used to be immigrants had sponsors.

I will put my analysis of Trump (Metaphor For American Conservatism) up against your mud-slinging rhetoric, before any impartial judge, anywhere. For that matter... Well, I will try to keep this nice.

Oh, I agree with you. But I am being realistic. Beating Hillary in 2016 won’t be easy. In fact, it’s unlikely. But Trump does give us the best chance, just because he will take the fight to Hillary and make her earn it.

A Rubio or Cruz would just stand there, repeating bullet points, and then pee themselves as they proceed to be certain losers in November.

I have a different mindset than many. I think we completely blew it in 2012, pretty much condemning us to a liberal-leftist status quo for much of the 21st century. It may very well be that the only plan we have now is to destroy the structure of the GOP and RNC and rebuild, and wait for the inevitable failure of the liberal elite society.

But until then, we have Trump. And those who will follow. Nothing to lose at this point. Go for it, and if we’re going to go down, go down with guns blazing. #MakeAmericaGreatAgain

Here is my suggestion for how Trump can start overcoming his negatives. It is a tactic that I have applied a number of times on different issues—always with very good results.

What does that have to do with the half a million bribe to keep Carley’s manager’s mouth shut? You support those types of payoffs?

“It is also a big jump to conclude that Trump wants flocks of barely-disguised trannies crowding women’s restrooms, when he questioned why we are even discussing this. “

Coming to that conclusion would be a big jump. My gosh, I don’t believe Trump wants that! Never crossed my mind.

But during the interview, he shoots down a great solution of them having their own restrooms, saying it would cost businesses money. Businesses are going to lose money one way or the other with this anyway.

But then he explained that offering restrooms just for them would be discriminatory (disappointing PC nonsense).
