Yes, that makes for a good argument. Goodfellas definitely had better music placement. Also, Goodfellas didn’t have two or three increasingly lame sequels. But the original Godfather had a better ending.
I do like “Goodfella’s” great movie.
I love the Godfather films, even the third one ,which could have been better. My favorite is when Coppola recut the first two and made the Godfather saga, then threw in all the footage he left out. That is really good and tells the story in chronological order.
I like GF2 better than GF1.
