Really good day of golf today. Davis Love III scored an ace, and another player — forget who at the moment — got a hole in one bouncing his ball off another and into the hole. “Pasture Pool” indeed!

What pisses me off about this venue is the attempt by the club to keep the scores down. The way they do this is by carefully manicuring all the areas off the fairways in the trees by cutting all the weeds and grass and laying down pine needles so that even the worst shots are lying on open ground............

Take away that course advantage and their scores would be much higher........

Did ANYBODY ONCE hear the term “Amen Corner” be used during the broadcast to describe that section of the course formerly known as “Amen Corner”? Especially notable absence of the term when Speith lost it in the middle of this corner...

How much you want to bet CBS and/or PGA wrote a contract forbidding use of this politically incorrect term. Doesn’t respect Allah, or something like that.
