It wasn’t a Starbucks Employee.

It was a little Snowflake who was nursing her $5 Latte while on her $500 Laptop using the Free WiFi complaining about Rick Scott not expanding Medicaid.

I only wish I was there so I could make her melt.

Not on coffee it isn’t. Give it time though. I’m sure the left will find a way.

She was not an employee and she’s a political operative.

If people want the 1000 calorie drinks, how is that Starbucks’ fault?

It's not. But the idiots that order it still deserve to be insulted.

I like fresh brewed Columbian coffee, black-nothing added-brewed every morning right here at home-for pennies per cup, and I can take some with me to work in the cup holder in my old 4x4-makes more sense to me, my budget and dislike of unhealthy food than a cup of coffee-flavored syrup for about $7.00-the nearest Starbucks is 20+ miles away, and that is good...

It sounds like someone never attended a customer service workshop-but the customer is an idiot, too-Type I diabetes is an autoimmune disorder, and not caused by being fat-most people I know with type I are not overweight-unlike the supersized people with type II diabetes, caused by too much weight and bad eating habits. I doubt the Starbucks staff is aware of the difference, so they probably weren’t singling out the customer. Neither party seemed to be acting like a responsible adult...

I don’t care what people eat, drink, smoke or do otherwise, as long as they don’t whine or expect nanny govt, private business or any individual to be responsible for the results-they should cowboy up and STFU, like real adults do. Probably a bit harsh, but that’s just the way I am...

I don't understand. If this guy has diabetes in the family, the last thing he should be doing is ordering things like "white chocolate mocha" drinks.

I'm so tired of this politically correct crap. When I order up eggs and bacon at a diner, people I'm with will sometimes joke "heart attack on a plate." That doesn't bother me. Even though my father and uncles have all had heart attacks. I laugh along with them and I am not offended in the least.

Maybe this guy ought to lay off the white chocolate mocha whatever-it-is. I like Starbucks coffee but only drink it black or with a shot of espresso (also black). Maybe Starbucks is doing him a favor.

“People who serve the public are expected to do that and keep their opinions or jokes to themselves”.

Absolutely! Customers may be space cadets, lunatics with tinfoil hats, or even liberals, but if I or any of the crew let on that we found that amusing, we would never get to bid another job-we’d be blackballed. It is called
“customer service”, and it seems it is no longer required of workers who deal with people...

I have followed a Paleo-Atkins type diet since forever-low carb, fresh unprocessed food, etc, and the eggs and bacon aren’t bad if you don’t absolutely gorge on that every day, and don’t have biscuits or toast, too-it is certainly better than carb laden cereal with sugar and milk-or waffles/pancakes drowned in syrup...

I agree and I’m on a similar diet. Many still operate under the misnomer that foods like beef, bacon, eggs, butter, cheese, etc are “heart attack food.” It’s the processed stuff that will get you.

Yeah, and that dang auto correct really ticks me off. You think you are typing what you think you are typing, then something completely different gets posted. That is not helpful.

Nope. I refuse to do that. I will not bless Starbucks with my hard earned dollars.

I suspected you of being too intelligent to throw away money at Starbucks, this man says it all and does a much better job than I can; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4Mjnzqi5gs
