Some liberal celebrities are threatening to leave the country if Donald Trump becomes president. Samuel L. Jackson proposes moving to South Africa, though if Jackson is worried about xenophobia, South Africa is not a great place to avoid it. Miley Cyrus vows, “I am moving if this is my president! I don’t say things I don’t mean,” and Jon Stewart topped them all by saying he would leave the planet if Trump is elected, but Stewart is having a hard time getting attention these days, so let’s discount that as hyperbole, although he’s probably rich enough to build his own space station. Other liberals take a more nuanced view of the rise of Trump. What if a President Trump were to cause so much anger that a number of Americans simply rejected the results of the ballot box and took up arms against his administration? That would be kind of cool, wouldn’t it?

If they then attempt to return, it will be a simple presumption of hostile intent, since they are unable to accept US law as written, and they can be shot on sight.

The left really don’t want things to explode. They may threaten but it wouldn’t turn out good for them.
Probably not the greatest reason to vote for Trump. If it unloads undesirable people, it has my support.
If I were not already a Trump supporter I would become one to get rid of trashy celebrities.
How could libs take up arms against a Trump administration? They don’t believe that they should own guns. So where would they get them? Certainly not from anyone here on FR.
I go to movies only in a blue moon nowadays. I’ll watch the NHL on NBC plus a few evening reruns on our granny channel up here (Vision TV) and TCM and that’s about it. Given that, I really do not give a sh*t about Miley Cyrus or Samuel L Jackson or Jon Stewart or Susan Sarandon and I certainly do not give a sh*t about their often ignorant and hypocritical worldview.
Visions of when ones like Ginger Rogers, Betty Grable, Dinah Shore, William Powell, John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, and others who were Hollywood royalty and conservative Republicans (almost brings a tear to your eye).

What they expect is the romance and excitement of a Hollywood revolution with Guess Who penciled in as the stars. They don’t want a Che revolution, they a Che T-shirt revolution. Those, unfortunately, exist only in adolescent fantasy.
The narcissists of Hollywood believe everyone loves them and so they would survive a Second American Revolution. If there is such a revolution, they will all be killed.
If they follow through on their threat to leave, the moment they leave US controlled airspace, immediate revocation of citizenship. They should not be allowed back in this country.......ever.
