First off, the Model 3 is a 65 KWH battery, so $8.13 for a full charge. If you have a 50 mile round trip commute, that would be about 1/4 of that, or around $2/day - for a massive total of $60 per month.
The "entire nation" won't be going to electric cars for at least thirty years, at which point low-cost nuclear, solar and possbily LENR will make your other points moot.
I won't personally be buying an electric car anytime in the near future, but the misinformation flying around is pretty staggering.

LENR is a silly joke on the ignorant and played out by scam artists like Rossi. No nuclear plants are in the work and I highly doubt any will be built in the next 30 years. Solar has hit chemical limits and no new discoveries are expected.
