There really has been a downward spiral here, I don’t recall it being as rude or spiteful from prior election cycles.

We all get it - this election season has very serious consequences to our country’s future - security, economy, supreme court, etc. We should be mad, loud, and ready to fight this out.

But we seem to be failing at convincing each other to vote for a candidate and succeeding at tossing tag lines, smears, and insults. It’s a shame.

FWIW, I’m 51/49 Cruz. Today. The day before, more Trump than Cruz. I see each of these gentlemen as having different strengths, and both as having their own shortcomings. Glad we have more time to observe before pulling the lever in November.

You don't remember the great Rudy Purge of 2000?

It seems that, generally, FR's Trump supporters are satisfied with the primary environment here and believe this election cycle is no different than any other, while (generally) Cruz supporters are the ones expressing disappointment.

Just an observation.
