Cruz is still USEFUL to the left to STOP TRUMP and throw the nomination to the GOPe, so that they can nominate another loser (like Jeb, Romney, Linda, and Ryan)...once he accomplishes that, expect to be watching the video EVERY NIGHT on the evening news.

If this was done by the GOPe and/or its allies, the timing doesn't make sense. Why not wait to undermine Cruz until after Wisconsin which he appeared to have a very good chance to win prior to these rumors? Handing Wisconsin to Trump only makes it more likely that he will get to the necessary 1,237 delegates.

Agree...it wasn’t the GOPe going after Cruz, it was National Enquirer getting it out early.

The only ting that makes sense to me is there are different groups of people, and they are not all working to the same ends, and someone for whatever reason, is not going along with the plan (assuming there is one).
