It's not whether National Enquirer has been right before. ,(even a broken clock is right twice a day). It's whether the overwhelming preponderance of stories in National Enquirer are false or made up stories(they are).

I had a open thread discussion with the Admin Moderator yesterday about this same issue. Like all of us here, we abhor censorship and I wondered why FR was silencing mature adult FR conversations regarding this rumor?

The official response from the moderator was that they were not allowing crap sources like Conservative Treehouse or other such blogs.

I understand that. But still, we post from CTH and even Salon and Slate all the time when the dirt is on the left side. But when it hits too close to home?

Maybe because it's tabloid trash and even though it is almost certainly complete BS, Trump supporters (such as yourself) want it out there because they hope it will tarnish Cruz even though it highly unlikely to be true.

Too bad for you Trumpsters this isn't likely going to have any effect at all, and may just look like more attacks from Trump supporters on Cruz's wife garnering him sympathy and helping him defeat Trump in Wisconsin (second poll out today showing Cruz beating Trump in that next primary state).

Trump and his allies appear to be getting a bit worried his nomination will be derailed.

There is no human news/information source that is 100% accurate (including "Free Republic").   We all have to learn to carefully discern the truth in every single thing we read, and to separate the wheat from the chaff, and to confirm allegations (where possible) from various other sources.

Even in the Bible, we can't take every single written word as absolute literal truth.  (For example, when Jesus says the following,

He does not mean to literally pluck your eyes out.   If people could not discern the truth behind that obvious bit of hyperbole, we would all be going around with either one eye, or no eyes.)

I'd venture to guess that "National Enquirer" has been right far more often than the "New York Times", or the "Washington Post".
