First let us ponder a recent policy announcement:
Cruz for police to patrol Muslim neighborhoods.*
Short of martial law, heightened patrols would be worthless compared to Trump's muslim ban.
How gullible does Cruz think people are?
So why did Cruz offer up that idea? To trick people. His supporters are wonderful patriots who deserve better from him.
~~~
Here's another example: Cruz accusing Trump of retreating from NATO.
That is a malicious misrepresentation. Trump wants NATO members to pay more into the alliance. He's reminding them that they need the USA more than the USA needs them.
Cruz is actually arguing that we should maintain the status quo in budget allocation and assumes [once again] that his supporters are too naive to realize it.
~~~
A third example: Blaming Trump for the leftist goon squads.
Michelle Malkin's book, 'Unhinged, Liberals Gone Wild' goes into exhaustive detail of what Trump is up against. Leftist brown shirts were in full fury even during Bush's first four years.
But Cruz blamed Trump.
~~~
Last example: corrupt trade policy.
Cruz and his supportive intelligencia are quite accurate to point out that free trade is a conservative policy.
But what about corrupt trade? It strangles our economy, poisons our politicians, and even poisons our media.
For example, remember Cynthia McKinney and Prince Alwaleed?
Just after 9-11-01, Mayor Rudy Giuliani told Alwaleed to take a hike and refused his check after the Saudi prince publicly insulted the USA.
Congress-witch Cynthia McKinney sent the prince a fawning letter* siding with Islam against the US and begging for money.
That's the kind of thing that happens to our elected officials in this climate of corrupt trade, so corrupt that McKinney was able to keep running for congress years later.
But Alwaleed got his revenge by buying influence in US media ...
This included FoxNews.
[I don't mean to include Sean Hannity or O'Reilly. The free spirits of FoxNews are the exception which keeps that broadcast alive.]
Look at what Prince Alwaleed's influence purchased during this primary:
Google and Fox TV Invite Anti-Trump, Hitler-Citing, Muslim Advocate to Join Next GOP TV-Debate*
Fox to develop Muslim sitcom to fight Islamophobia*
Megyn Kelly to Ted Cruz: 'The record supports you' [only after audience sleeps]*
Conclusion on corrupt trade: When people speak supportively of NAFTA and all the rest of it, consider the bipartizan support it had. Does anyone expect Cruz to do anything about it?
~~~
We Trump supporters need to remind ourselves that it takes time for people to shake themselves free from partizanship. That's just human nature. Some Cruz supporters will allow themselves to be reshaped. But as weeks pass, many will unplug from the new matrix he's forming.

Cruz is flailing because he’s failing. It’s over for him.
The GOPe has basically said they prefer Hillary over Trump, Cruz is their pawn.
AGAIN: There’s NO WAY Cruz defeats Hillary electorally in November.
NO WAY.
And the GOPe knows this.
Choose wisely.
I don’t think many of the supporters of either candidate will be reshaped. Yes, some will be, but many won’t.
If he panders to liberals and muslims a few more times, Ted’s got this in the bag. /sarc
Cruz have taken status quo non Conservative positions in each one of those
Heidi Cruz is one of the architects of the North American Union that plans to erase both our southern and northern borders. It is NAFTA on steroids. It is an assault against our sovereignty as Americans.
General Petreaus on the Fox Business Channel said that the 20th Century MAY be called the American Century but the 21st century will be the Century of North American decades. Petreaus joins Heidi Cruz as a member of the CFR and he's the Chairman of the KKR Global Institute.
We can expect a President Cruz to do something about NAFTA, but it's not what conservatives would expect.
Cruz was and is folded into the establishment as much or more than Bush.
Cruz is out of his league here, and I am wondering if he is deliberately getting bad advice or not taking good advice.
He is clearly distancing himself from deportation and slowing immigration.
This new policy of his for policing neighborhoods was a distraction to pivot. Based on his campaign, you would expect him to keep with his illegal immigration/deportation/wall, whatever.
Nope. His response is watching them knowing they are here.
There is no doubt about that at this point.
Furthermore, he is all in for amnesty as all his backers are and I can’t wait to see his fans spin this reality.
Cruz = amnesty - FACT
Then don’t read them.
Don’t post them.
I’ve been posting vanities ever since this forum was founded.
Love your spunk.
With a 1997 anniversary date I’m can’t argue with you. Glad you found the humor in my post. FReepRegards.
