They know they'll never be able to corral Cruz. They'll never be able to control him. They will never be able to impugn him intellectually. So they go after him in other ways.

Nope, the truth is they all know he is the biggest hypocrite up there, is fully one of them(establishment), having duped some conservatives into believing he is principled, when evidence abounds from dirty campaign tactics to Bush endorsements that he is a clearly a complete phony.

Cruz will never be Prez, in this election or any other.

He can’t win FL, OH, or VA and nothing he can do is gonna change this.

“In the case of Ted Cruz, every damned one of these people knows full well that they’re not in his league in terms of IQ, in terms of intelligence, in terms of talent and ability.”

What I like about Cruz is that he is very intelligent and has taken several courageous and principled stands in the past.

The two candidates I liked were Cruz and Trump.

But Cruz’s recent actions have made it harder for me to like him.

The teaming with Glenn Beck, the defending the thugs who attacked Trump supporters in Chicago, the hiring of Neil Bush and other Bush people have made it harder to like him.

Cruz’s recent proposal to have police patrol Muslim neighborhoods was just stupid. Then Neil Bush saying that Cruz would have police patrol radical Christian neighborhoods.

I wish Cruz and Trump could team up together and work together. They are both intelligent. Maybe they are working together under the radar.

I would like best to see Trump president and Cruz a Supreme Court justice.

Nobody's scared of him because he can't win and wouldn't be able to do much if he did.

While they may not be able to outsmart Ted, like a lot of smart people he's sometimes too clever (or too convinced of his own cleverness) for his own good.

They are more scared of Cruz than Trump.

Jeb!, Mitt, Lindsay Graham, Nikki Haley, Phil Gramm, Rick Perry, Club for Growth, Carly Fiorina---yeah, Cruz is really an outsider, anti-establishment. All these other anti-establishment candidates have endorsed him, real outsiders.

Rush has lost it. Apparently he has not heard that Lyin Teddy is now totally encased in the mantra of the GOPe with Mitt and Jebbie backing him. But then Ted was always a career politician posing as an outsider. Now he has ripped off the mask.

Rush get is right again. However, like Cruz and Levin, having led the conservative movement for all these years he's persona non grata on FR. People would be wise to go back in the post histories and see what things looked like during the government shut down.

Now, if you pledge support to Donny Come Lately you're the enemy.

Strange times.

Nobody fears cruise, they just hate him. He's power hungry and jumped the GOPe succession line for POTUS. Add his trying to use religion, questionable alliances and campaign tactics, globalist wife, plus he's just plain irritating.

Globalism is NOT a conservative trait.

Let us not forget that “The club for growth” has backed Ted Cruz. Ted has completely sold out.

False premise. Socialists/progressives/RINOS/gopE/criminals/SCUMBAGS have no fear until they are incarcerated or eliminated. Wake up and smell history.

“They know they’ll never be able to corral Cruz. They’ll never be able to control him. They will never be able to impugn him intellectually.”

Except where it comes to issues that the Establishment really counts for a lot, like TPA/TPP, Corker bill, increase in H-1B visas, increase in immigration, etc., little things like that, and the same little things that Cruz supporters refuse to hold in their consciousness.

I don’t know about hate but I think they dislike him because he is an overly ambitious young establishment hack who would not wait his turn and jumped the line, which is frowned upon in Calgary Ted’s Bushy establishment circles. Pulling self promoting stunts like calling McConnell a liar just to build his “outsider” cred probably didn’t help any either. On top of that he is a very unlikeable guy who hangs around with other thoroughly unlikeable GOP establishment types.

Put Your Donation Where Your Mouth Is: Who do you think will win the Republican Nomination?

opinion | 23 March 2016 | ShivaFan
Posted on 3/23/2016, 4:34:05 PM by ShivaFan

This is simple. If some are so sure who has the momentum and will get the Republican convention, put your money (donation to FR) where your mouth is.

Personally, I would set this bet at $100 as fair game, but I think some are also suffering under the Obama “recovery” so I think a $40 bet in more fair.

Here would be the bet. Pick who you think will get the Republican nomination below by responding BET (name) in upper case. If your choice does NOT get the nomination then you donate $40 dollars to FreeRepublic.com support donation.

What do you say? This isn’t really gambling, just sort of a fun way to donate to Free Republic if you are wrong.

WHO WILL WIN THE REPUBLICAN NOMINATION? CHOOSE ONE NAME, NO SECOND CHANCES LATER. IF YOU ARE WRONG, YOU DONATE $40 DOLLARS TO FREE REPUBLIC:
Choices
BET TRUMP
BET CRUZ
BET KASICH
BET OTHER

Rush’s lips must be teally sore from slobbrring all over Cruz’s butt and giving him butt hickeys.

Many people are turning him off for good over his support of blind support of Cruz and Rubio

3/23/16

Rather dated, considering Cruz suspended his campaign a week ago.
