Portman didn’t have meaningful competition (if any) for the primary. He’s up for re-election in November, and it’s already a close race. He should’ve endorsed no one for the primary. You’d think he’d have known that the passions of Trump supporters in OH run high.

Can anyone figure out Kasich’s game? Is he really pinning his hopes on the long-shot of being a “unifying” candidate at a split GOP convention - whereby he would then get trounced in the general election?
