In the wake of the attacks in Brussels, Ted Cruz said in part:
“Donald Trump is wrong that America should withdraw from the world and abandon our allies. Donald Trump is wrong that American should retreat from Europe, retreat from NATO, hand Putin a major victory and while he’s at it hand ISIS a major victory.”
Trumpsters, of course, took Cruz’s comments as a personal insult to Trump, saying that Cruz “blamed” Trump for the Islamic terror attack in Brussels.
Pro-Putin conspiracy theorists InfoWars posted a video quoting Cruz saying “It is striking that the day after Donald Trump called for weakening NATO, withdrawing from NATO, we see Brussels, where NATO is headquartered, the subject of a radical Islamic terror attack.”
The video left out the rest of Cruz’s quote stating that Trump is “wrong that American should retreat from Europe, retreat from NATO, hand Putin a major victory and while he’s at it hand ISIS a major victory.”

Exactly, he didn’t “blame” in the sense that he said Trump planted the bombs.
He plainly juxtaposed the attacks and Trump’s policies to say that Trump’s positions would enable more such attacks, or something like that.
Bottom line is he knows Trump was the one who warned about Brussels and Cruz took a cheap shot that had no place in the aftermath of the terror attack.
I really have become disillusioned with Cruz. Saying he’s the “most conservative” is no longer enough for me. I think he’s a long winded opportunist.
Facts are irrelevant. What matters is what the Trum-pets think.
Yes, Ted Cruz DID blame Donald Trump for #BrusselsAttacks. Cruz is the type of person who will distort someone’s words and then lie to your face.
That the EXACT comment I watched Cruz say. No way can it be spun otherwise. It was despicable.

Cruz clearly blames Trump for the terrorist attack in Brussels.
Did I say he did, oh wise one that does not have a problem with Trump comparing the US to Russia’s murdering of thousands of journalists and innocents.
I'm voting for him because he's the only Constitutional conservative in the race with a consistent record.
Trump is no Conservative- but his people don't care about that either, so I guess that makes the whole thing a draw.

Perfect! DT can make a deal with putin to stay out of Europe and then we don’t have to send our military to the bases over there. Except the base in Spain that is close to Africa. Where were the Special Ops teams that were told to stand down for Benghazi? Where do we do joint military exercises? The Marines of 1/8 were doing winter training in Norway. I guess they didn’t learn any winter survival skills or anything else of value.
