Baltimore Inner Harbor is beautiuful and a great area to dine, shop and sightsee.

I concur and I live near Baltimore. Total cesspool.

Hit every revolutionary and civil war battlefield you can find. Almost every exit in northern virginia has one. DC is a must visit. Try to time your visit to the WWII Memorial with an Honor Flight. (Honorflight.org)

Philadelphia is pretty cool. I’d skip New Jersey. I spend time on the shore for work and stuff is still closed.

The Historic Triangle in southern Virginia includes Yorktown, Jamestown and Williamsburg. Well worth a couple days.
