Am taking a travel vacation to visit friends up and down the Eastern seaboard. Any tips on what to avoid and not to avoid? Haven't been down that way in years.
Baltimore Inner Harbor is beautiuful and a great area to dine, shop and sightsee.
If you go into Manhattan, walk with your chin up, pay attention and stay south of 125th st.
Stay safe. Enjoy every moment.
Don’t worry about Baltimore; it’s not as bad as you’ve heard, . . . at least not in the daytime . . . on a calm day . . . in some neighborhoods. They have a few CVS stores that are still open. I ran a red light in a bad neighborhood there a couple years ago, and a cop gave me a thumbs up instead of a ticket.
Gettysburg is nice. Skyline Drive in VA is nice. The Smithsonian in DC is amazing. Liberty Hall in Phily is worth seeing.
Thanks.
forgot about that, and I tend to be a low-flying missile. Will have to bone up on the cruise control and be good. When can I start speeding again? Florida?
Sadly understood.
95 kind of skirts around it. If you feel up to it try seeing some of north Georgia it is glorious and had some awesome folks
It’s been a while, but I always enjoyed visiting the Outer Banks off North Carolina. If it’s windy you could probably spread your arms and fly as far as Orville and Wilbur did!
Come on Washington DC has some of the most incredible monuments, buildings, museums, Cathedrals, historical sites in the world.
The Smithsonian, White House, Capitol, Library of Congress, Jefferson, Lincoln Memorials Washington Monument. Its endless.

A buddy who grew up and lives there says stay south of the 70s.
I think it is like 10 to one: NO Baltimore.
Just get yourself in on the big Soros march they’re planning there this summer.
All you can stomach McNuggets and Communism for everybody that joins in
Florida Highway Patrol are very courteous but stay off Hwy. 301.
It is nice down there. Saw, I think it is called Stone Mountain, last time I was there, a monument of Generals if I recall correctly.
If you are carrying, check reciprocity laws.
And just around the corner was where the riots took place
I would go when the sun is up
There’s good areas in the 80s and 90s that are good. Museum row and such. Wander too far north of that and you’re in Revered Al country.
I am just trying to have a nice trip and visit great friends and not run into any problems.
...some take credit cards
